showalters farm | living country

This was such a fun shoot! Right down my ally. Literally. I drove across the road to be exact! Marybeth use to be a city girl, and since marrying Kenneth 9 years ago, they’ve decided to move back to Kenneth’s home and live on the farm (Marybeth, you will get use to it and love it, promise)! I could go on and on about the beautifully simple life here in Dayton. It’s like a little escape for me. Yet, you can be to town in 5 minutes. Perfect really! Here are some fun pictures we shot the other afternoon! Marybeth wanted to incorporate her new “farm life” to share with family and friends! I believe these pictures did so very well. Enjoy a few favorites!

I love the dogs face in this picture.

I love the feeling of the next two, how the grain was stopped in motion.

This is true country right here, folks.

I *really* like kenmbg_17bg.jpg. Great picture of you two, as you can feel the contentment, warmth and happiness. Same thing as kenmb_18bg.jpg.

Nice pics! As I was scrolling through the pics, the theme song of Green Acres was in my head! You guys look super happy. Some times getting away from the city can be a welcome change.
