Lochlan Gray | long awaited miracle

Little Lochlan is nothing short of a miracle – and long awaited at that. The young family has been through quite a rough journey, first losing their sweet baby girl Grace at 39 weeks from a cord entanglement, then having 2 miscarriages following her birth. Being an extraordinary example to so many (including myself) of a strong faith and commitment to God – they knew they wouldn’t give up on their dream of becoming parents.
I couldn’t have been happier when I heard she was pregnant with Lochlan! Although it wasn’t an easy pregnancy, being on bed rest and having a few complications, they were thrilled to welcome a beautiful, living, sweet baby boy into the world.
When they were looking for a photographer, I jumped at the opportunity to meet their sweet family. Off I went to Northern Virginia! It was such an honor to be able to take pictures of their family. I was ecstatic to capture these precious moments between the three of them.
