Today’s TUESDAY TIPS is on organization! It’s SO important in owning any business to be organized in many different aspects. Here are a few tips on how to do so successfully.
- Keep a rhythm or schedule This is one I’m currently working on. The most efficient way to keep on task is to get into a routine or schedule of keeping up with daily or weekly tasks. When you will blog, when you will e-mail clients or other photographers, when to check inventory, etc.
- Goals Be sure to jot down monthly or yearly goals or ideas to better your business. It will help you not to be overwhelmed at all the ideas you have running through your head OR drain your bank account for that matter. When you finish one goal, move on to the other!
- Check Lists I LOVE check lists. I have personal and business check lists and it helps me be productive whenever I step foot in my office. I can check off items instead of leaving my computer when an idea pops in my head that I’ve completely forgotten to cover. As you will see below, I just hung above my desk a “post production” check list for clients. It’s going to really help me in my busy months when I have 4 or 5 clients to keep up with (it can be confusing and you can easily let something slip through the cracks!)
