Sneak peek and an update! I'm back!

Hi friends! Wow. It’s been a while since I’ve posted! I promise I’m still here! Big News: we’ve welcomed our third baby into our family and she is fitting in just perfectly. I will admit though, time is thin as I’ve been completely saturated and loving every moment of being a momma to these 3 little ones. Every day doesn’t come easy but God truly reminds me how incredibly blessed we are. I am thankful.
This year brings new challenges for our family, new hopes, dreams + memories to be made. I am VERY excited about slowly getting behind the camera + announcing a spring mini session in just a couple weeks!

baby #3!

I can hardly believe we are just weeks away from meeting our 3rd little babe! I’ve anticipated, dreamed, and prayed for this sweet little one for months now + I can only imagine how incredibly beautiful the moment will be when we see his or her sweet face. (we’ve decided to let the gender be a surprise once again!)
My older sister mentioned a few months back I should consider doing maternity photos – I was definitely a little hesitant with being in front of the camera. You don’t feel your most beautiful (all those late night snacks + sweets for 9 months CAN catch up to ya!) I’m SO thankful I decided to let her take a few. Pregnancy is such an incredible gift and a miraculous way God shows his handiwork. Being the third child I still get butterflies and love fills my heart with each little kick or poke. It’s just plain incredible.
On the business side of things…I’ll be taking off some time as we learn to adapt to our new family of 5. I’m hoping to start shooting again come early spring! I can’t express to you how thankful I am as this year comes to an end, looking back at all the wonderful families I’ve learned to know, photographed + build friendships with. I can only hope 2013 brings the same + much more!

Strites | Family

I’ve known the Strite Family since I was well… before I knew that I knew them. ha! My mom + Sharon (grandma in the middle) were pregnant together with her daughter + myself and we were born just 2 weeks from each other. Although Jana doesn’t have children yet, her older sister Sonya + brother Ryan have some absolutely adorable offspring and I’m sure Jana’s children will be just as beautiful when they come along!
Enjoy this gorgeous family, we shot their photos this summer at Sharon + Gerald’s lush + scenic home in Harrisonburg!
